Houston Set Me Free

The parents sometimes are fairly blind to everything they try to push onto others, there children mostly. Culture, Religion, and Faith.. Its things you should have the free will to discover on your own. The truth about God should lay in your own destiny, the decision making about all of these emotionally disturbing areas should be conquered by yourself. Help may be needed from time to time, but in the end you are your own person. No one, can or should tell you what to do, where to go, or what to believe in. Maybe we should start pushing back, against the parents, maybe a revelation needs to take place in this society of ours which we get blamed for being so corrupt. We should show the parents a different path, a different area of emphasis.. The thought of letting your baby bird fly away from the nest isn't such a bad analogy if you think about it in the end. Its a true life lesson that should take place, possibly pushing the mother and father out of the nest first though. So they can see the world through your eyes.. Experience the life that you have soon to live. Its all just a spoken truth, but never can you actually succeed this talk. I use to let my mind wonder continuously about why my folks shiver in the thought of letting me goto a university and move out, until now.. They are scared of the only mistake that isn't ours.. Pushing us so much into what they want us to believe, so as soon as we finally get a hold, a grip, a lose end that will set us free from this stretched out rubber band that they will lose control of us, lose all there meaningless hard work and dedication to mold us into being something were not, into seeing things like they might want to see, into becoming them.

The message I have stated for the past generation which believes like this, is the following: "You have, are, and always will.. Waste both yours, and your future generations time, by doing something such as this."

We always hear the phrase 'New Generation' the reason we as the 'new' part is because almost, if not always, every time something is new, it is different, whether it be good or bad. It is different.

I hope you didn't underestimate me for writing something such as this, because I am smarter then you might think. But not as stupid as you'd hope.

Thank You.
